Tarapoto – Chachapoyas

09:30 a.m.: Meeting at the “Selva Tourism” terminal (the type of mobility is a small Toyota Hiace high roof combi type with a capacity of 15 passengers)

10:00 a.m.: Travel to the city of Chachapoyas, on the route we will enjoy an interesting jungle landscape of Alto Mayo, a stop for lunch, we will go from the Amazonian plains to the first Andean foothills, arriving at the end of the day in Chachapoyas, reception at the terminal.

Transfer to accommodation, installation, acclimatization day.

9:30 a.m.: After breakfast, we will leave for the fortified citadel of Kuelap, after about 45 minutes we will arrive at the archaeological zone of Macro, observation and explanation of the housing complex built on the slope of a hill, then we will move to the town of Nuevo Tingo, later to the station. boarding and exit platform to board the first cable car system in Peru (these take us on a 20-minute trip along 4 kilometers, we arrive at Malca Pampa, then we will walk about 30 minutes to enter Kuelap at this place A professional guide will explain the historical process of Kuélap, this partial internal visit inside the monument will last about 45 minutes, we visit different places such as ceremonial enclosures, decorated circular rooms, etc. Return by cable car, then we will eat our lunch and return to Chachapoyas.

9:30 a.m.: After breakfast, at the indicated time we will transfer in our vehicle to the village of Cocachimba, 1 hour from Chachapoyas, minutes later we will arrive at the village of Cocachimba, from there we will begin the one-way walk for 2 hours until we reach the fall of water from the Gocta Waterfall (771 meters high, considered the third highest in the world) we will arrive at the Gocta Waterfall amphitheater where we can do birding, take photographs, bathe, etc. Then we will return 2 hours of treking to the town of Cocachimba, we will eat our typical lunch in the afternoon and finally we will return to Chachapoyas.
