Reception at the airport and move to Casa Andina - Hotel.
A night in Lima

Day 2
LIMA - TRUJILLO - CITY TOURS

Transfer to the airport and flight to Trujillo – Reception and transfer to the Casa Andina hotel. Tour of the main places in the city of Trujillo that shows us its colonial wealth highlighting its baroque style houses, as well as the republican art with its neo-classical style mansions. The tour begins at the Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, Casa Urquiaga, Iglesia la Merced, Casa de la Emancipación, Palacio Iturregui and finally the visit to the Museum of Archeology of the National University of Trujillo, to have an overview of the pre-Hispanic development of the region. Overnight in Trujillo.

Day 3
HUACA DEL SOL Y LA LUNA - CHAN CHAN - HUANCHACO

Breakfast, visit to the Huacas del Sol y la Luna, capital of the Moche culture. There we can observe the beautiful mural paintings with the representation of the god Ai-Paec, also known as the “Degollador” later we will visit the Huaca Arco Iris or El Dragon, located north of Trujillo. This temple was built by the Chimú culture, and was an integral part of Chan Chan. After the visit we go out to Chan Chan to visit the Site Museum where we will see the model of the entire city, and then the Tschudi or Nik An citadel, which is the only one of the nine that can be visited. Finally, we will end the tour in the Huanchaco fishing cove, famous for the “caballitos de totora” that are used by fishermen to this day. Overnight in Trujillo.

Day 4
TRUJILLO - EL BRUJO - CHICLAYO

Breakfast, departure to Chicama valley to visit El Brujo Archaeological Complex, administrative center of the Moche culture located very close to the sea. On its walls there are polychrome designs of prisoners, warriors and other important ceremonial designs. We will also visit the Cao Museum, where the ornaments and mummy of the Lady of Cao are exhibited. After the visit we continue our route to the city of Chiclayo. Staying at the hotel, overnight in Chiclayo.

Day 5
CHICLAYO - HUACA RAJADA - TUCUME - MUSEO TUMBAS REALES DEL SEÑOR DE SIPAN

Breakfast, we start the excursion to the Huaca Rajada archaeological complex, old cemetery where the tomb of the Lord of Sipán was found, we will visit the site museum and excavation area. We will continue visiting the Pyramids of Tucume, a spectacular monumental site, we will walk to the Mirador and visit the site museum, eat lunch, finally arriving at the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, an impressive museum where the gold and silver jewelry from the tomb of the Lord of Sipán is exhibited.

Day 6
CHICLAYO - GOCTA LODGE

Breakfast, we will depart from the city of Chiclayo in a private vehicle, on this route we will cross 4 regions of Peru, starting with Lambayeque, the south of Piura, the north of Cajamarca and we will end in Amazonas. After leaving the coastal desert, we will cross the Porculla Pass to descend into the narrow valleys of the Amazonas-Chachapoyas region. Box Lunch on the route. Arrival in Cocachimba and installation at the lodge.

Day 7
GOCTA WATERFALL

Breakfast, walk to reach the Gocta Waterfall, which is considered the third highest waterfall in the world with 771 m high. This walk will take us through a mountain forest landscape that is home to a great variety of flora and fauna, free time to enjoy the place, return to the lodge, lunch, rest of the afternoon free, overnight.

Day 8
KARAJIA SARCOPHAGI + PUEBLO DE LOS MUERTOS

Breakfast, departure in bus to the Tingorbamba canyon, starting point of our walk to the archaeological zone of Pueblo de los Muertos, it is composed of mausoleums, funerary sarcophagi and cave paintings. Return to Lamud for lunch, in the afternoon we will head to the town. Cruzpata, a few minutes walk away (25 min), are the Karajia sarcophagi, unique burials in the world whose anthropomorphic tombs contain a mummy, each sarcophagus, located on large rocky cliffs, transfer to Chachapoyas. Overnight.

Day 9
CIUDADELA FORTIFICADA DE KUÉLAP + MACRO - CHILLO LODGE

Breakfast, departure to the fortified citadel of Kuelap, after about 40 minutes. In bus, we will arrive at the archaeological zone of Macro, observation and explanation of the housing complex, we will arrive at the citadel of Kuelap located over 3000 meters above sea level, we will visit different places such as ceremonial enclosures, the main temple, south platform, circular rooms decorated with friezes . , the upper town in the lower town etc. Lunch, transfer to the Chillo Lodge facilities. Overnight

Day 10
MAUSOLEOS DE REVASH + MUSEO MALLQUI EN LEYMEBAMBA

Breakfast, we will move in bus to the town of San Bartolo, from there walk for about 40 minutes to the Revash Mausoleums, this set of mausoleums are rectangular constructions of 1 and 2 floors of a funerary nature decorated with Chachapoyas iconography, guided tour, lunch, then we will move to the town of Leymebamba from there to the Museum of the Mallqui center, whose interiors are kept more than 2000 objects, 119 mummies and an interesting collection of Quipus material recovered and brought from the Mausoleums of the Laguna de los Cóndores, The museum also exhibits ceramic textiles and weapons from ancient Peruvian cultures, installed in the Casona de Leymebamba. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 11
LEYMEBAMBA - VIAJE A CAJAMARCA

Breakfast, we will leave Leymebamba early towards Cajamarca. This tour will make us cross the Calla Calla mountain range (4000m high) and then plunge into the deep canyon of the Marañón River that runs 3000m below. We will pass through a large number of ecological floors and incredible landscapes that only the Andes mountain range can give us. Overnight in a hotel in Cajamarca.

Dia 12
CAJAMARCA - CITY TOURS - VENTANILLAS DE OTUSCO - BAÑOS DEL INCA

Breakfast, visit of the city built of volcanic stone. We started by visiting the historic Plaza de Armas, then the Cathedral, the San Francisco church and the chapel of the Virgen de los Dolores, Belén church, the old Men's Hospital and the Women's Hospital where an Archaeological Museum currently operates. Then visit the “Rescue Room”, the place where the Inca Atahualpa was held prisoner. We finish the city tour with the ascent to the Santa Apolonia hill, to see the “Silla del Inca” and have a panoramic view of the entire city of Cajamarca.
Lunch, in the afternoon visit to the necropolis of Otusco, known as “ventanillas”, then we go to the Baños del Inca, a tourist site of hot springs, historic for being a recreation site of Atahualpa. The pool where the Inca bathed is preserved from this time. Overnight in the hotel.

Dia 13
CUMBEMAYO

Breakfast, start of the excursion to Cumbemayo, on the route we will be able to observe the remains of the archaeological site of Layzón. After 20 km. On the way we arrived at Cumbemayo from where Los Frailones can be seen, we visit the small Site Museum. We will walk through the entire complex, which will take us around 3 hours, where we will find the famous rock forests or “frailones”, petroglyphs, sacrificial stone, sanctuary and the aqueduct (one of the most important works of hydraulic engineering in America pre-Columbian).

Transfer to the airport or bus station.
