Chiclayo – Chachapoyas

Reception at the bus terminal or airport and transfer to the hotel.

HUACA RAJADA + PYRAMIDS OF TUCUME + ROYAL TOMBS OF THE LORD OF SIPAN MUSEUM
We start the excursion to the Huaca Rajada archaeological complex, an old cemetery where the tomb of the Lord of Sipán was found, we will visit the site museum and excavation area. We will continue visiting the Pyramids of Tucume, a spectacular monumental site, we will walk to the Mirador and visit the site museum, eat lunch, finally arriving at the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, an impressive museum where the gold and silver jewelry from the tomb of the Lord of Sipán is exhibited.

CHICLAYO – CHACHAPOYAS 
Transfer to the transportation company's terminal (availability according to the land transportation company, sleeper bus service - Móvil Tours, El Expreso, GH Bus and Kuélap).
09:00 p.m.: Travel to the city of Chachapoyas, attention on board, overnight in bus.

Travel time: 9 hrs.

6:00 a.m.: Reception at the land terminal and transfer to the selected hotel.
7:30 a.m.: Breakfast at the hotel.
8:30 a.m.: At the indicated time we will move to the Kuelap fortified citadel, after about 45 minutes we will arrive at the archaeological zone of Macro, observation and explanation of the housing complex built on the slope of a hill, then we will move to the town of Nuevo Tingo, later to the boarding station and exit platform to board the first cable car system in Peru, these take us on a 20-minute trip along 4 kilometers, we arrive at Malca Pampa, then we will walk for about 20 minutes, to enter Kuelap, in this place a professional guide with extensive experience will explain the historical process of Kuelap during the 3-hour visit, we visit different places such as ceremonial enclosures, the main temple, circular rooms, etc. Return by cable car, then we will enjoy lunch and return to the city of Chachapoyas.
5:30 p.m.: Arrive at Chachapoyas, transfer to the hotel, overnight.

Visit time: 3 hrs.

7:30 a.m.: Breakfast at the hotel.
8:00 a.m.: Transfer in our vehicle to the town of Cruzpata, from there a 25 minutes walk to visit the Karajia Sarcophagi, a set of funerary statues, located on an inaccessible rocky cliff. Guided tour, lunch, visit to the Quiocta cavern where we will observe stalagmites, stalactites of different shapes and sizes, and inside we will appreciate many human bones scattered throughout the place since this cavern was used as a cemetery for pre-Hispanic populations, return to Chachapoyas.
6:00 p.m. Arrive at Chachapoyas, transfer to the hotel, overnight.

Trekking time: 1 hrs.
Visit time: 1 hrs.

7:30 a.m.: Breakfast at the hotel.
8:30 a.m.: Transfer to the town of Cocachimba, one hour from Chachapoyas, on the way we will pause to observe the Pitaya Petroglyphs, these were made using the scraping technique, minutes later we will arrive at the town of Cocachimba, from there we will begin a hike for two hours to the Gocta Waterfall (771 meters high, considered the third highest in the world). On the way, we will observe sugar cane cultivation fields, the flora and fauna of the place, with the constant view of the Gocta Waterfall, we will arrive at the Gocta Waterfall. Sighting, taking photographs, etc., return to the town of Cocachimba, typical lunch, in the afternoon return to the city of Chachapoyas.
4:00 or 5:00 p.m.: Arrive at Chachapoyas, transfer to the hotel, overnight.
7:00 p.m.: Transfer to the bus station to return to Chiclayo.

Travel time: 2 hrs.
Trekking time: 4 hrs.

4:30 a.m.: Arrival at the city of Chiclayo.
