9:30 a.m.: We move to the province of Luya, we will pass towns such as Cohechan, Chocta and Cruz Pata, 25 minutes away. On the trip you will find the Karajia Sarcophagi, a set of funerary statues, located on an inaccessible rocky outcrop, these belonging to the pre-Inca culture of the Chachapoya, this form of burial is considered unique in the world.
Upon returning we will eat a typical regional lunch in the city of Lamud, continuing with our visit in the afternoon we will move to the Utcubamba Canyon Viewpoint from where we will see the flow of the river, the highway to Pedro Ruiz and the imposing Gocta Waterfall. Finally we return to Chachapoyas.
